15 Worst Horror Films Of The 21st Century (So Far)
4. Descendants
There have been a lot of bad zombie movies made in the 2000s, but none compare to Descendants. Originally titled Solos when it was released in Chile, this one follows a group of children as the lead characters. A zombie movie from the perspective of kids? That sounds kind of interesting, right? Well, there's one key decision that drains any tension from Descendants: the kids are immune to the virus. This is a zombie movie where the lead characters have absolutely no chance of being turned into zombies, so then who the hell cares about what's happening at any point? The film is insanely dull and it really overuses slow motion seemingly just to stretch pointless scenes out forever. Oh, and expect to watch the exact same flashback countless times. The ending is one of the most baffling in horror history. The kids have been trying to get the ocean the whole movie, and in the last few minutes they finally do. Then, out of absolutely nowhere, a sea monster rises up, and the main character grows gills and swims away. That just happened. Is this movie a practical joke? Did someone lose a bet?
