15 Worst Movie Performances Of 2019

With a movie as poorly received as Cats, there are usually several bad performances to choose from, whether it be James Cordon, or the entire special effects team. As Jennyanydots however, Rebel Wilson just about takes the title of worst of a bad bunch.

The Pitch Perfect star, as usual, is employed to lend some sort of comic relief to the movie and, as usual, misses the mark for the majority of her screen time. Stumbling and bumbling about, in a fashion that was surely impossible to expect any laughs from, it is at this point tiring to watch her attempts at humour.

As if the fat jokes weren't off-putting enough, the musical number doesn't act as any kind of redemption. In the Pitch Perfect series, Wilson has proved that her singing can at least dilute the over the top, annoying Fat Amy to be at least tolerable, but this certainly isn't the case here. While part of that is down to the god-awful humanised cockroaches during the number, the entire scene fell completely flat, and as the focal point, Wilson has to take a big chunk of the blame.
