8. Electro's Transformation - The Amazing Spider-Man 2
The Scene: Max Dillon (Jamie Foxx) is repairing something on the bio-electric power grid when he's suddenly electrocuted, causing him to fall into a tank of genetically engineered electric eels, where he's stung repeatedly and transformed into the super-villain known as Electro. Why It Sucked: Everything about this scene is totally lame. Firstly, there's Jamie Foxx's ridiculously goofy expression while he's being electrocuted, then there's the fact that Dillon was apparently standing directly above an eel tank without any sort of harness or protection and, well, the fact that a few stings from these eels is apparently enough to transform him into an electrical entity. It's basically saying, "because...magic." Was there really not a cooler, more interesting and less silly way to turn Dillon into Electro? Really?
