15 Worst Movies Of 2015 (So Far)

10. Zombeavers

Zombeavers Eaten Face
Armory Films

Rotten Tomatoes: 66% (About 60% too high)

It's all well and good making a self-conscious horror film that aims squarely at the gutter and achieves some viral notoriety on the back of a gleefully stupid concept and trailer, but there really has to be more to a film than that.

Zombeavers is not of the same ilk as Tucker And Dale Versus Evil, no matter what its supporters suggest: the key is that self-awareness comes in different forms, and intellect still has to play some part. Otherwise you end up with Scary Movie.

Fair enough, everyone knows how ridiculous the material is, but the simple fact is that not even their commitment to a suitably adjusted tone can get around the fact that the pun-title offers as much enjoyment as the film is capable of. And the fact that so many people responded positively to it says everything you need to know about the post-Sharknado cinema-watching world.
