15 Worst Movies Of 2015 (So Far)

9. The Cobbler

The Cobbler Adam Sandler
Image Entertainment

Rotten Tomatoes: 11%

The greatest tragedy of the entire Sony hack last year was that literally nobody lost any sleep over the brazen insults levelled at Adam Sandler. The reason for that collective amused shrug is that the undoubtedly talented comedy actor (seriously, it wasn't just a dream) keeps making (and somehow getting paid for) garbage like this.

Having already starred in one magic-realist comedy about an enchanted remote control, Sandler this time stars as an shoe maker who stumbles across an enchanted sewing machine that allow him to literally walk in someone else's shoes. Or in other words, he becomes whoever's shoes he wears.

Seriously. In 2015.

Cue "hilarious" opportunities for cross-dressing, creepy pseudo-sexual assault and dating his own mother. It's not really any wonder that the $10m costing "comedy" managed just $24,000 at the US box office, but what is surprising is that Sandler, for once, isn't actually to blame.
