10. Samuel L. Jackson - Mace WIndu
Samuel L. Jackson is a tremendous actor who can do both blockbuster and dramatic performances with ease and has more than earned his ridiculous amount of success, but while he's usually reliable this turn in the Star Wars Prequels went poorly and is one of the worst performances in an otherwise magnificent career.
Mace Windu's a very uninteresting and frankly somewhat idiotic Jedi (for example, why didn't he bring more backup when he was trying to arrest the chancellor?) and the most memorable thing about him is his purple lightsaber, while Jackson gives an uncharacteristically boring performance.
Throughout the prequel films, Jackson is half-asleep and just mumbles his way through the part. Even in the action scenes when he's meant to be bad-ass, he's still uninteresting to watch and to be brutally honest, thanks to the complete lack of charm in the performance WIndu frequently comes across as quite an A-hole.
Yet another waste of a talented actor, then.
