15 WTF Moments From Mad Max: Fury Road

7. Toecutter Has A "Cameo"

Alright, so this one's a bit of a cheat, but given that this Mad Max movie is being treated more as a reboot than a sequel, it's quite odd that it actually includes a very brief clip of the original movie. That's right, when Max has one of his nightmarish visions of his dead family, there's an extremely quick glimpse at the bulging eyes of Toecutter, the villain from the first film, also played by Hugh Keays-Byrne. It's an iconic moment to any hardcore Mad Max fan, though easily missed if you so much as blink when it appears on screen. Still, given the reboot treatment, it's hugely unexpected, and if quite strange, still a nice nod to the film's forbear.
