18 Crucial Questions For 2016's Most Anticipated Movies

10. Will Audiences Accept All-Female Ghostbusters?

The Question: With the decision to reboot the Ghostbusters franchise with an all-female cast (Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones) proving majorly controversial with fans of the original, will they ultimately embrace the film and ensure the huge $154 million budget is money well spent? The Likely Answer: It's hard not to side with writer-director Paul Feig here considering the huge success of his last three Melissa McCarthy-starring comedies (Bridesmaids, The Heat and Spy), so while the film will almost unavoidably remain controversial pre-release, don't be surprised if plenty change their minds with the final product. Above all else, it's almost certain to be a financial success, even if with such a huge budget it's going to need to be a box office home run like Feig has never seen before. Either way, it'll do enough to get a sequel and establish a new franchise.
