3. Hulk Versus The Hulkbuster - Avengers: Age Of Ultron

The Film

Avengers: Age Of Ultron definitely doesn't have as many fans as the original (or spiritual successor Captain America: Civil War), but it is still an enormously enjoyable experience with more darkness, more of a tangible global threat and a villain who deserves a lot more love than he's even received so far.

It was the culmination of Tony Stark's anxiety around protecting the Earth - a very clever story approach - that really props up the action, but even with that smaller scale heart, Whedon once more delivers on spectacle and the excitement factor. Even if he didn't exactly love the experience of making it.

The Moment

With the twins showing off their Infinity Stone-created powers for the first time, Scarlet Witch sends Hulk on a rampage somewhat unwittingly, leading to Tony Stark having to implement his control proceedure. Cue the proper arrival of the Hulkbuster armour that appeared as a cameo in Iron Man 3 and a real battle of the titans between the two collossi that is exciting, has real stakes and has genuine moments of comedy in there too.
