Film: The Lion King The stampede scene from The Lion King is simply horrific. Not only is there a possibility of young Simba being crushed to death, but there's also Mufasa, a father who is living in a moment of fear at thought of losing his son. But of course, the scariest thing about this situation is that it was all premeditated by Scar, the King's brother and Simba's Uncle. Scar looks at the scene with an air of superiority and smugness alongside Mufasa who is utterly terrified. Throwing himself into the stampede, Mufasa saves Simba's life and just as easily, Scar takes Mufasa's life away. Hanging onto the cliff edge for dear life, Mufasa is glad to see his brother who will help him up. Scar hauntingly whispers the words "long live the King" as Mufasa falls to his death.
