10. The Birth Of Doc Ock - Spider-Man 2

Once a caring professor who genuinely wanted to make the world a better place, it was Doctor Otto Octavius's ambitions that got the better of him. After a freak accident with a innovative energy device leaves his wife dead and his laboratory destroyed, we find the good doctor strapped down for a surgical procedure, whereby several technicians prepare to remove the now sentient "arms" from his body. Not so fast, guys: as Octavius lays face down, his eyes blindfolded, the arms go wild, taking out the physicians with in a surprisingly bloody sequence of death.

9. The Joker Takes Down The Batwing - Batman

In a scene that was somewhat played homage to in The Dark Knight, Jack Nicholson's Joker invites Batman to fly the Batwing towards him, uttering lines such as: "Come on, you son of a b*tch. Come to me." As Batman fires bullets and missiles at his arch-nemesis from the air, the Joker merely stands still and takes it all in his stride, relishing the explosions that are going off around him. And then he removes an absolutely freakin' massive pistol from his pants, takes one well-aimed shot, and brings the Batwing down to the ground. If that isn't super cool, then what is?
