20 Awesome Recent Horror Movies You'll Never Watch Again

14. Milk & Serial

Milk & Serial
Curry Barker

Milk and Serial is a found footage film from the twisted mind of YouTuber Curry Barker - a thoroughly DIY romp he made for a mere $800 with friends, and yet it's one of the most unnerving horror films of the last few years.

Barker stars as one half of a social media prank duo whose latest prank has insane consequences, and boy, Barker sure proves himself a natural born filmmaker alright.

Gut-wrenchingly tense and compulsively compelling all the way to the end, Milk and Serial provides further proof there's still life in the found footage genre yet - and best of all, you can watch it for free on YouTube.

But even with the film's easy availability and mere 62-minute runtime, it's also a tough one to return to.

For one, the production values are rough, and while that admittedly grounds the film in a certain sense of reality, it doesn't make for the most innately appealing viewing experience.

This, combined with the sheer creepy awkwardness of Barker's performance, means you'll probably only go there once.
