16. Ian Malcoms Book - Jurassic World
It was a damn dirty travesty that Jurassic World didn't feature a cameo by Jeff Goldblum, but hopefully the impending further expansion of the franchise will mean that his swash-buckling mathematician Dr Ian Malcolm might have a chance of returning. His presence was very much still felt in the film though, even if he wasn't there to lear at women and try and get laid using the infamously accessible chaos theory approach. His book - God Creates Dinosaurs - appears twice in the film, first in the hands of Claire's assistant Zara (before she's unceremoniously bumped off for no reason). It also appears on Jake Johnson's desk, cementing his fandom for the first film and his status as an approximation of the real life fans of the series. The film's other best Easter Eggs saw the Spinosaurus from Jurassic Park III recaptured in skeletal form in the park's grounds and a cameo by Jimmy Buffet as that guy who really needed to save his margaritas.
