20 Best Movie Blu-Rays Of 2016

There’s no doubt that 2016 has been one of Disney’s best years yet. Four of its films currently rank as the highest-grossing of the year, with Zootopia coming a close third behind Finding Dory and Captain America: Civil War. Telling the tale of an unlikely duo, rabbit police officer Judy and con artist fox Nick, who team up to uncover a conspiracy involving the disappearance of several predators from their animal-populated metropolis, the movie made over $1 billion at the box office and currently ranks as Rotten Tomatoes’ most critically acclaimed film of 2016.

Its Blu-ray release no doubt upped profits significantly, topping home media sales charts too. Not surprising either, considering the bonus features it’s crammed with. There’s a number of deleted scenes, details of deleted characters that ended up on the cutting room floor, a featurette detailing the makers’ travels around the globe finding inspiration for their animal cast and an in-depth look at all the Easter eggs its animators craftily planted in the movie.
