13. Escape From The Torture Chamber - Mission: Impossible: Rogue Nation
Tom Cruise still has some moves on him for a 53-year-old, with the Mission: Impossible series giving him a chance to do some life threatening stunts every few years. Rogue Nation opens with him hanging off the side of a plane for real and almost drowning himself on film for another scene. He still knows how to convincingly throw a punch too, with his escape from a torture chamber being an excellent scene; and a nice introduction to co-star Rebecca Ferguson. Despite Toms life-threatening stunts Ferguson ended up stealing the movie from him, with this scene showing off her excellent fighting skills while she struggles to free Cruise from his handcuffs. The sequence plays out like a dance, with the two of them choreographing various bits of violence against their attackers.
