20 Best Netflix 2017 Original Movies - Ranked
7. I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore
It's impressive that Netflix was able to acquire Sundance's dramatic Grand Jury Prize winner and release it just five weeks after its premiere at the festival last January. This is the future.
It also helps that the movie's a genuinely great, darkly comic thriller about a depressed woman (Melanie Lynskey) teaming up with her deranged neighbour (Elijah Wood) to clean up her crime-ridden town.
Writer-director Macon Blair makes the most of Lynskey, a fantastic actress who desperately needs more high-profile leading roles, and a rarely-better Wood in this delicious, blackly funny film which moves in unexpected directions while asking some uncomfortable questions about society at large.
