20 Best Opening Scenes From Recent Horror Movies

4. Jimmy & Stiggs

Jimmy and Stiggs
The Horror Section

Joe Begos' wild new alien invasion film Jimmy and Stiggs was ultimately acquired for distribution by Eli Roth's new label The Horror Section.

Before release, Roth added two insane fake trailers in front of the film in a similar style to his iconic Thanksgiving trailer which played during the 2007 double-feature Grindhouse, and was finally made into a feature film in 2023.

The first of these two trailers is The Piano Killer - a hilariously giallo-styled romp in which a serial killer uses pianos to murder their victims in a number of wildly over-the-top ways.

Then there's Don’t Go in That House, B*tch!, which is basically a series of vignettes in which characters enter a creepy old house before being subjected to untold horrors, all while a Snoop Dogg voiceover repeats the titular phrase.

Shortly after Jimmy and Stiggs hit cinemas, it was announced that Roth and Snoop would be collaborating on a feature-length adaptation of Don't Go in That House, B*tch!, with Dogg writing and producing music for the picture. Sure, why the hell not?
