Best: Spider-Man (2002) Yes, Simmons' stunning performance in Whiplash deserves immense praise - from the brutal psycho-violence to the begrudging dazzled pride at its end - but his absolute best is also the single greatest comic book movie performance. Some might suggest that it is no more than mimicry, but the simple fact is that Simmons got so far under the skin of the character (who hopefully may re-appear at some point) that it's hard to tell where the source ends and he begins. Worst: Postal (2007) Uwe Boll plus a video game adaptation (and an original that was more notorious for its callous subject matter than its actual quality): in other words, a disaster that absolutely nobody involved should look back on with anything other than open disgust.
