20 Bizarre Censored Lines That Hilariously Ruined Great Scenes

14. The Usual Suspects

the usual suspectsThe Original Line: €œHand me the keys you f*cking c*ck-sucker.€ The Ridiculous Redub... Arguably one of the most famous redubs in the history of over-zealous TV editors, and one that was no doubt put together with tongue firmly planted in cheek, this is the famous line that frames the most famous image from the twisty thriller. And while the edit may be funny, it butchers the scene, and replaces genuine creepy humour (at seeing the real assailants clowning around over the line) with a shorter-term comic punch. But then, to be honest, if someone was robbing you and displayed enough obvious insanity to call you a €œfairy Godmother€ you might actually be more inclined to do as you're told.

13. Good Will Hunting

The Original Line: Will: "Does this violate the doctor-patient agreement?" Sean: "Only if you grab my ass." The Ridiculous Redub: Will: "Does this violate the doctor-patient agreement?" Sean: "Only if I turn around." Clearly, the line was redubbed because someone in TV land took offence to the jocular homosexual tones of Sean's response, which must rank as one of the most unnecessary over-reactions in the history of the world, but the solution didn't exactly work. If the intention was to get rid of the sexual overtones, why on Earth was the edited line chosen, which is probably more charged than the original?!
