17. Great Odin's Raven (Marvel Cinematic Universe)
In both Marvel comics and the legendary Norse mythology, the Allfather Odin has two ravens (called Huginn and Muninn) who act as spies for him. To date, they have actually subtly appeared in every Marvel Cinematic Universe movie that Thor - Odin's son - has appeared in. In the original Thor movie, the two were seen perched above Odins throne when Thor was being initiated to becoming Asgard's king and they were also by Odin's bedside when he was in the Odinsleep. Then, in Thor: The Dark World, in Odin's first scene on a balcony, he was shen listening to one of them presumably telling him about something that had happened when they were out acting as his eyes (like the threat of Malekith, for example). They also appeared on Earth in the Avengers movie. They flew past as Thor was arguing with Loki on top of a mountain after he had retrieved his troubled adopted brother from S.H.I.E.L.D.s custody.
