Another BBC project laden with Potter stars, Page Eight is a 2011 political thriller/action drama written and directed by David Hare, his first in the director's chair since the 1989's Strapless.

Bill Nighy stars as Johnny Worricker, a long-serving MI5 officer whose boss and best friend Benedict Baron (Michael Gambon) dies suddenly, leaving behind an inexplicable file that threatens the stability of the organisation and the country.

The former Minister for Magic and Headmaster of Hogwarts are joined by Ralph Fiennes, with Hare making use of some of the most formidable actors on the Potter roster. Fiennes, who literally brought Voldemort to life in the series, plays underhanded British Prime Minister Alec Beasley, who has knowledge of secret overseas prions where terror suspects are tortured by U.S. authorities.

The film was well-received at home and internationally, currently holding a 92% Rotten Tomatoes score. It was followed by two sequels entitled Turks & Caicos (which upped Potter representation up to four with Helena Bonham Carter joining the cast as Johnny's ex) and Salting the Battlefield.
