20 Greatest Moments In Wizarding World Movies

After eight films and ten years of build-up and story, you'd certainly hope the climax of the entire thing lived up to expectations. Luckily, it did. Big time.

Aside from Voldemort disintegrating in that bizarre way, the finale of the Battle of Hogwarts (and by extension, the Harry Potter franchise as a whole) is dazzling. All of the action is excellent, Neville's speech to the Death Eaters is thoroughly effective and the scene which takes place after the battle has finished is very good too.

These scenes are elevated even further by mesmerising visual effects and some of the best directing David Yates have ever done for the series. They aren't quite up to par with the book equivalent, but this is still a largely strong translation and a wonderful way to wrap up the whole story.
