20 Hidden Horror Gems On Netflix

Described as a horror-comedy, Conjuring Spirit is definitely a film that leans towards the latter half of that description, a spooky ghost story that includes a few light-hearted moments before returning straight back to creeping dread. Vietnamese in origin (originally titled Chung Cu Ma), the film tells the tale of a woman, Lan, that leaves her husband after he betrays her, moving into a new apartment complex with her son Bi.

Lan has nightmares that get more frequent and unpleasant, seeming to increase dramatically when she comes into ownership of a strange music box gifted from the housing manager of her apartment. Of course, the little trinket isn't what it seems, and the pair and their neighbours have to figure out a sinister secret.
