13. Unfriended
In screenlife indie Unfriended, Blaire and her friends are having a Skype chat when they notice their conversation is interrupted by an unknown user.
Over time, they discover their uninvited guest is the ghost of their former classmate, Laura Barns. When a humiliating video of Laura circulated online, she took her own life. Now, consumed by rage, Laura's vowed to destroy everyone who wronged her, starting with each person on the online chat.
As the night progresses, it comes to light that all of Blaire's buddies betrayed each other in some way. During this scene, it's established that Blaire has stolen a car and cheated on her boyfriend. Be that as it may, her sins are nowhere near as bad as the others. Blaire also seems to be the only person who's genuinely sorry for not supporting Laura, and she's doing her best to make amends.
However, in Unfriended's last few minutes, we learn that Blaire is the one who recorded the humiliating video of Laura, all while gleefully laughing at her. Even though Blaire repeatedly pleaded for forgiveness, it was too little too late.
