Release Date: June 13th Set five years after the end of the first movie, the Vikings and Dragons living in new-found harmony, and Hiccup wrestles with his own responsibilities and the requirements of his fate to become chief. He and Toothless explore uncharted lands and come across a secret ice cave containing hundreds of new wild dragons and a mysterious Dragon Rider, who turns out to be Hiccup's long lost mother Valka. With that new familial element playing out, a new threat emerges that threatens to rip their world apart in the shape of Drago Bludvist and Eret the Dragonknapper. And inevitably Hiccup must put all of the moral lessons he's learned to take down the threat. The Selling Point: The original was brilliant, and the film is almost guaranteed to make money because of its success.
