The Role: Little is known so far, though it's almost certainly a small cameo role, and appears to revolve around the Harry Potter actor having a dozen dogs tethered to him while wandering around Central Park. Given that the likes of John Cena and Kobe Bryant play themselves, it seems likely that he'll follow suit too. Trivia: the part was originally intended for Joaquin Phoenix. Why It's Unexpected: It's not that Radcliffe is averse to comedy, because his recent career has certainly proved he isn't, but given that the role is certainly not significant (most of the early SXSW reviews haven't even mentioned it), and he's walking so many freaking dogs, it just seems really damn...weird. Will It Work?: Eminem's scene-stealing cameo in Apatow's Funny People suggests the director has a knack for it. Radcliffe certainly has the skills to pull it off as long as the script's solid, so going by the solid early reviews, there's no worry here.
