9. True Love's Kiss - Snow White And The Seven Dwarves
The idea of a "true love's kiss" seems like old hat in this modern era of laser beams and rocket-powered jet shoes, but back in 1937 such things carried a lot of weight (probably: don't cite us for historical accuracy on that one). Also don't judge us on the fact that we're branding the "True Love's Kiss" scene from Walt Disney's first ever full-length motion picture, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, as something of a classic. There's no denying this as one of cinema's most iconic scenes, after all. If you're yet to take in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, firstly... what are you thinking? Even Hitler got around to watching this movie, and actually classed it as one of his favourites! Secondly, even if you haven't seen the movie, you probably know what happens: Snow White has eaten a bad apple, has fallen into an eternal slumber, and only true love's kiss can save her. Cue a handsome prince, whose only job in the movie is to kiss her, and there's your Hollywood ending, kids!
