2. Ben Affleck (Daredevil) - Daredevil

"Wait, what? This has to be a mistake, right?" Don't worry, we're not for a second suggesting that Ben Affleck's performance in Daredevil was anything to write home about, but remember that this list is about "important" comic book performances, and while it may have been pretty flaky, Affleck's role is certainly an important one for movie producers to remember. Affleck was a hot property in the early 2000s, fresh off films like Pearl Harbour and The Sum of All Fears, and ready to wow audiences as Daredevil, apparently the next big thing in Hollywood. However, Affleck's flat performance is a testament to the fact that just because an actor's on the rise, it doesn't mean he's right to be thrown headlong into the abyss of comic book filmmaking. Affleck was horribly wrong for the part, to the point that many have used this as evidence to suggest that he'll also bungle playing Batman (even if that character is far better-suited to his acting talents). Thankfully, Hollywood (mostly) seems to have learned from this mistake, as they tend to tread pretty carefully when casting protagonists. As for supporting characters?
