20 Insane MCU Moments Marvel Didn't Show
15. Some Characters Were Meant To Appear Way Sooner
Last year, photos surfaced of a different actress portraying Captain Marvel in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The director worried this moment would come across as blatant fan-service and so, decided to cut this shot.
It may seem weird that we could have seen the character much sooner but this sort of thing has happened over a dozen times throughout the MCU. Ant-Man and the Wasp were going to appear in The Avengers but they were written out after Edgar Wright stipulated he would only direct Ant-Man if both characters didn't appear prior. Surtur, Hela, and Valkyrie nearly appeared in Thor: The Dark World but they were repurposed for Thor: Ragnarok.
There were some characters that were meant to appear years ago but have still not appeared in a single movie. Nova and Adam Warlock were main characters in one draft of Guardians of the Galaxy. In the sequel, half the film would revolve around Warlock hunting down was the Guardians.
After a confrontation, Warlock decided to join the team to battle Star-Lord's father, Ego. Before Killmonger was announced as the antagonist for Black Panther, Kraven the Hunter was considered.
