20 Marvel Characters Who Must Be Introduced In Phase 3
3. She-Hulk
Mark Ruffalo has revealed that Marvel are unable to move ahead with a solo film for the Green Goliath because of legal complications with Universal, but surely She-Hulk is free of such constraints? Jennifer Walters is the cousin of Bruce Banner, and after a near fatal accident resulted in her needing a blood transfusion to save her life, Bruce has no choice but to step in. His Gamma infused blood did the job, but not without a few side-effects. The key difference between these two Hulks is that Jennifer largely retains her own personality when she transforms into She-Hulk (something she has the ability to do at will), and still serves as a lawyer, particularly for the superpowered community. That all sounds like a hell of a lot of fun to explore in a movie (and gives Ruffalo a potential starring role in yet another Marvel release), and with fans vocally demanding more female led superhero releases, the story of this lawyer turned superhero is one which they should definitely be exploring at some point in Phase 3. If nothing else, her origin story could surely be crammed into Thor: Ragnarok or Avengers: Infinity War!
