Kicking off the year with a 5 January release, it's writer/director Bryce McGuire's feature-length version of his Night Swim short film.

Here, Wyatt Russell and Oscar nominee Kerry Condon head up the Waller family as they move into a new house. While a little work is needed on the property, the price makes it a steal that's tough to turn down. Unbeknownst to the Wallers, though, is that the swimming pool in the backyard is haunted.

Night Swim's premise might sound a little daft, but the movie's trailers show plenty of promise for something genuinely creepy.
