2013's Evil Dead remake proved divisive among horror fans, with some declaring it one of the best remakes ever, and others decrying at as inferior to Sam Raimi's original. Well, now director Fede Alvarez gets to prove his worth all on his own with an original project which promises to be a little more grounded, but no less intense than his debut.
Alvarez reunites with Evil Dead leading lady Jane Levy, as one of three small time crooks who pull a B&E on the house of an old blind man - but, as the old blind man in question is Stephen Lang (Avatar), it doesn't prove as easy.
