20 Most Horribly Misleading Movie Titles

11. The Iron Lady

What It Sounds Like: It€™s surprising Marvel hadn€™t already trademarked the name before the film came out. Just imagine: an aristocratic female counterpart to Tony Stark€™s Iron Man. Interestingly, in one of Marvel€™s alternate universes Tony is actually a woman called Natasha who goes under the superhero name Iron Woman. So, not the prim and proper Iron Lady this title suggests.

What It Actually Is: Nope, this is a metaphor for the Conservative prime minister Margaret Thatcher. In this biopic, Meryl Streep portrays one of the UK€™s most divisive and longest-lasting leaders. The film flashes back and forth from 2008, with Streep as Thatcher in old age, to her formative years as a young woman with big aspirations.

What It Should Have Been Called: Thatcher
