If ever there was a film that promised scary clowns would get you, it is this two part miniseries based on Stephen King's novel of the same name. Poor little Georgie is playing with his paper boat when it finds its way down a storm drain. Therein lurks Pennywise - scary clown (a little freaky already, clowns in drains are bad news). Pennywise tries to lure Georgie into the drain by promising him sweets and balloons. Then things get nasty. Pennywise reveals his true nature and twists little Georgie's arm off. We wet ourselves in terror now that we know all clowns are inherently evil just like Pennywise.

My first film watched was Carrie aged 2 on my dad's knee. Educated at The University of St Andrews and Trinity College Dublin. Fan of Arthouse, Exploitation, Horror, Euro Trash, Giallo, New French Extremism. Weaned at the bosom of a Russ Meyer starlet. The bleaker, artier or sleazier the better!
