18. Roger Moore
Sir Roger Moore, to give him his full title, started out in the entertainment industry with roles in TV shows including Ivanhoe and Maverick before nabbing his breakout stint as vigilante Simon Templar in British TV series The Saint.
He later become the longest-serving actor in the James Bond film franchise having played the iconic spy in a total of seven film from 1973’s Live and Let Die to 1985’s A View to a Kill and is credited with bringing both light-hearted charm and his trademark eyebrow raise to the legendary role.
Moore also starred in many films as wide-ranging as The Man Who Haunted Himself, The Cannonball Run and Spice World and received numerous awards recognising his charity work for organisations like UNICEF and PETA.
