8. Vincent (Collateral)
In the Michael Mann film Collateral, heartthrob and celebrity superstar Tom Cruise portrayed Vincent, a silver fox grabbing a cab ride to his job. Unfortunately for his targets, Vincent's job is to kill people for money. This is a surprising role for the actor known for playing charming and likable protagonists like the young entrepreneur in Risky Business, Ethan Hunt in the Mission Impossible series and that other film that inexplicably won Cuba Gooding Jr. an Oscar. Vincent is a calculated and ruthless killer, not only murdering for hire but seemingly for merely the hedonistic pleasure of it.
