20 Movies Since 2010 So Awful They're Actually Harrowing

13. The Legend Of Hercules

A typical January film through and through, this one really has nothing to recommend it at all. It doesn’t even feel like Greek Mythology - The Greek Gods and Hercules’ legendary trials completely absent - and instead it's a highly generic video-game like film about Hercules fighting to regain his kingdom featuring awful CGI, terrible writing and a joyless lack of substance.

Humourless, dramatically lifeless, devoid of thrills, and utterly unexciting in every way, shape and form, there is virtually nothing to this movie, although at least you’ll forget it about incredibly quickly.

It’s one of the very worst films of 2014 without a doubt, as well as one of its biggest box office bombs. There’s very little to say about this one in the end. It’s just a meaningless cinematic void from start to finish and it won’t so much bore you as send you to sleep.
