3. The Lego Batman Movie – Ralph Fiennes
The hotly anticipated Lego Movie spin-off, The Lego Batman Movie, is set to hit screens in early February next year. Luckily for Harry Potter fans the film will feature the talents of no other than the franchise’s infamous, no-nosed villain Lord Voldemort or Ralph Fiennes as he is more commonly known.
Will Arnett will reprise his role from the first Lego Movie as caped crusader Batman while the roles of The Joker, Robin and Batgirl will be voiced by Zach Galifianakis, Michael Cera and Rosario Dawson respectively. Ralph Fiennes will bring his unmistakably dulcet tones to the role of Batman’s ever-loyal and very British butler Alfred Pennyworth.
The Lego Movie was one of the biggest hits of 2014, so fingers crossed for Fiennes and Co that the second movie is just as successful. Even if it doesn’t quite duplicate the original’s success, if its recently trailer – in which Warner Brothers isn’t afraid to poke fun at its own critical flop, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice – is anything to go by, it should be good fun regardless.
