20 Predictions For 2017's Rotten Tomatoes Scores

Predicted Critical Consensus: "A darker, more bittersweet follow-up to The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi cements the thrilling staying power of the current Star Wars saga."

Rian Johnson is a terrific director, and if The Force Awakens' fairly safe production can score 92%, then The Last Jedi probably won't be far behind with a few more narrative risks and darker plot elements thrown in that perhaps aren't to all tastes.

Hopefully it'll end up being the Empire to TFA's A New Hope, nailing a far higher average score, and considering the firm handle Disney seems to have on the Star Wars product, it's hard to imagine it dropping below Rogue One's solid 85%.
