The original movie set an incredibly high bar with its 91% Tomatometer score, but there's a strong chance James Gunn and co. will find a way to live up to the original, at least going from what we've seen so far.
It looks beautiful, it's got Kurt Russell and Sylvester Stallone in it, Mantis joins the team, and it will probably nudge the Guardians towards the Avengers, so there's a lot to be excited about.
If this isn't one of the year's most critically successful tentpoles, it'd be a huge shock.
