20 Saddest Moments In Marvel's Cinematic Universe (So Far)

10. Rocket€™s Remorse

A few days ago Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige responded to a casual question regarding the proposed shooting date for the Guardians Of The Galaxy sequel by inadvertently revealing the project€™s name. Official confirmation from writer/director James Gunn soon followed that the title of the follow-up in two years€™ time will be Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2; for fans of the first film (i.e. pretty much everyone who saw it), May 2017 can€™t come soon enough. Another Awesome Mix will surely provide the soundtrack to what will hopefully be an irreverent adventure to match the feel-good sugar rush and high jinks of the first instalment. However, the sequel will need to match not only the impressive joke count of the original but also the emotional beats that made it hard not to care for the rag-tag team. Just such a moment came when a blind-drunk, gun-toting Rocket revealed the depth of the scars, both mental and physical, wreaked upon him by being €œtorn apart and put back together over and over.€ Aahhh.

I watch movies and I watch sport. I also watch movies about sport, and if there were a sport about movies I'd watch that too. The internet was the closest thing I could find.
