18. Charles Bangs His Head - X-Men: First Class

First Class was exactly what the X-Men franchise needed - it was a both a narrative triumph and hugely impressive in technical terms, with some great effects work and beautiful, inventive shots. There are even entire sequences, like the submarine scene, where the magic is seamless.

But it's not a flawless movie by any means and it features one of the silliest of all X-Men mistakes and an accidental tribute to the most famous movie mistake of all time from Star Wars. Just like that fateful Storm Trooper, the scene in question - just after the quinjet turns up to avert nuclear war - when Professor Xavier bangs his head on the obviously perspex window of the jet. Somehow, nobody noticed and it stayed in the film.
