20 Summer 2018 Films You Aren't Excited About (But Should Be)

7. Nasty Women

Nasty Women
Orion Pictures

It may have a bit of topical title (you may recall it's how Donald Trump described Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Presidential debates), but this is actually a gender-reversed remake of 1988 comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, with Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson taking over from Michael Caine and Steve Martin as two arch-rival con artists.

Relative newcomer Alex Sharp (How To Talk To Girls At Parties) plays the object of a wager between Hathaway and Wilson: a young tech billionaire who they aim to dupe out of his money, and - depending on how closely they adhere to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - possibly also his pants.

British comedian Chris Addison makes his directorial debut on the film.

Release: 10th August US, no UK release date confirmed yet.

Ben Bussey hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
