16. Merry Friggin' Christmas
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 18% It's depressing enough that beloved comic Robin Williams took his own life back in August, but to then be greeted with a terrible posthumous release like this wasn't exactly much of a comfort to his legion of fans. Pretty much the only reason anyone will watch this is to catch another glimpse of Williams, but this miserable, almost laugh-free Christmas comedy is absolutely not worth the trouble even for hardcore Williams fans. Though teaming with Community star Joel McHale for a road trip movie is a promising premise, the script is bottom-of-the-barrel holiday fare from start to finish, a pure payday for all involved, and with Williams playing a depressed loser, it will surely hit too close to home for many of his fans. Sickly sweet and completely wasting its cast, this one's destined to be lost among the glut of lame Christmas films released every year, and rightly so.
