Whilst many may know that Carrie Henn's turn as Newt would be her last, many don't know what she went on to do afterwards.

Aliens would be her first and last film, aside from starring in a couple of documentaries about the film. Early on after her initial success, she was adamant she would never work again.

She has subsequently stated the main reason for shunning Hollywood was that she didn't want to be separated from her family. They were also claims that other children at her school were jealous of her success, meaning she found it hard to make friends.

She is now a teacher in California, and makes occasional appearances at sci-fi conventions.
