12. The Last Starfighter's StarCar Makes A Cameo

At the start of the hoverboard chase, keep an eye on one of the futuristic-looking cars parked on the street. Does it look familiar? It should.

This is the StarCar from 1984's The Last Starfighter - the flying vehicle owned by alien Centauri (Robert Preston).

Considering that both movies were produced by Universal Pictures and The Last Starfighter was only shot a few years earlier, it's reasonable to assume that the studio still had the car parked on their lot and were able to dust it off for a movie where it fit the style so perfectly.
