20 Worst Movie Moments Of 2019

12. Glass - The Ending

Captain Marvel Nick Fury Goose

Glass was a massive let-down overall that proved M. Night Shyamalan hasn't yet let go of some of his bad habits. It's sad that twists are his trademark since even in his better movies, the twist is always the worst part and in Glass, yet again, Shyamalan went for a thoroughly silly twist ending that was focused only on subverting expectations and not on concluding the story properly.

All three of the main characters die and both David Dunn (Bruce Willis) and Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy) get highly underwhelming deaths, with Kevin being shot dead by police and David being, wait for it... drowned in a puddle. Unbelievable.

While Elijah Glass' (Samuel L Jackson) death at the hands of Kevin is less jarring, he's actually the driving force behind the film's terrible ending. Glass wanted the trio to fight where there were as many cameras as possible so that the existence of superheroes could be revealed to the world... but in the film, the world already knows about superheroes and super-villains thanks to the events of the film's predecessors, Unbreakable and Split, so what exactly was the point of this?

One of 2019's worst endings without a doubt.
