20 Worst Movies Of 2018

There was a spate of dog movies this year as Hollywood seemed to get wind of the memeability of the insufferable "doggo" loving culture pushed by doe-eyed social media accounts and "good boi" memes. When they're good, that's fine, but this cutesy comedy is so obviously a cash-in on the popularity of Doug The Pug without any added imagination that it's far from that.
if you want to watch a movie about a new dog owner struggling with an idiosyncratic pooch, stick to the likes of Turner & Hooch, Beethoven or K-9. All of them are vastly more funny, more heartfelt and more genuine than this dull affair, which sees Beattie Edmondson saddled with a spoilt pug by her grandmother's death.
Sure, there's cuteness (because who doesn't love a pug), but there's not enough aspiration to be anything other than a vehicle for its charismatic dog lead to look adorable. And that's really not enough.
