20 Worst Movies Of 2018
7. London Fields

Based on the novel of the same name by Martin Amis (whose other adapted work, Dead Babies - which was mercifully renamed Mood Swingers - was also terrible), this boring rehash of the source material was hamstrung by controversy early on.
Originally on the festival circuit in 2015, the adaptation suffered the ignominy of the director suing the studio because he wasn't happy with his name being attached to the final cut, which is not what you want for a product you're trying to promote. He found himself counter-sued by the production company for breach of contract and accused of sabotaging the marketing and then star Amber Heard was also sued (and counter-sued herself) to add to the pot.
All-in-all, the production story was a lot more interesting than the film itself, which ended up wasting a talented cast and great source material and was slapped with a 0% Rotten Tomatoes rating. If you saw it, it was probably only by accident and its only appeal lies in watching to see just how bad it is.
Good soundtrack, though.
