20 Worst Movies Of 2022 (So Far)

9. Fistful Of Vengeance

Fistful of Vengeance
Netflix

Whether you're a fan of the Netflix action series Wu Assassins or simply tuning into this follow-up because it stars Iko Uwais and Lewis Tan, the comically-titled Fistful of Vengeance is an absolute shambles.

The movie's biggest problem is the lack of compelling action, with even the promising set-pieces being drowned out by a painfully boring story, unaided by leaden dialogue and disengaged performances.

Not all TV series will necessarily translate well to the movie medium, and in the case of Wu Assassins this bookending installment largely fails to justify its own existence.

With poorly staged action undermining the efforts of Uwais and Tan in particular, Fistful of Vengeance is a car crash of a movie with a bevy of bizarre musical choices to boot.
